There are well over 500 men and women from every walk of life and from every region in South Carolina who have demonstrated confidence in a particular young leader or leaders. Nominators have identified at least one person they feel embodies the essence of a Liberty Fellow — a proven leader, highly engaged in their local community who has the potential for state level impact.
Each class is limited to 20. The group is carefully crafted to be made of up diverse perspectives that transcend gender, race, politics, regions and religion. This mosaic is a trademark of every Liberty Fellowship class and sometimes means a well-qualified candidate is not selected. The good news is that a new Liberty Fellowship initiative, Liberty Forums, provides a great way for all to join the Liberty community in meaningful work and discourse.
