Fueling the Momentum

Linking Fellows, Senior Advisors and South Carolina Leaders

In response to advice, counsel and downright advocacy, Liberty Fellowship Forums nurture and expand the Fellow network and fledgling collaborations beyond the two year experience. Four Liberty Fellowship Forums focus on arenas with the greatest impact on quality of life and prosperity of our state:

  • Economic Development
  • Education
  • Health/Environment
  • Public Policy

Open to the public, Forum participants include Fellows, Senior Advisors and those with expertise, a commitment or simply a deep curiosity about the Forum topic. The only expectation is that participants be respectful of all views as they explore readings, research, and current trends. Each Forum is led by a pair of Fellows with significant expertise and a desire to link Fellows and other thinkers and doers in South Carolina in discussion and exploration of top issues. The vision is that through this discussion and exploration, solutions will emerge and groups will spin off to take action outside of Liberty Fellowship to positively impact South Carolina.

Each Forum will hold periodic webinars and host an annual Summit with global leaders. Additionally, the Liberty Fellowship website will provide easy, quick access to current research articles on the topics of interest to each Forum.

Core Functions of Forums:

  • Foster continuous collaboration of Fellows across classes
  • Build communities of South Carolinians who are passionate about the Forum topic and interested in working together for positive change
  • Provide easy access to top scholarly and think tank research
